Best of the Blogosphere:
March 2012 Blog Tour

It's time for my picks for Best of the Blogosphere, the March 2012 Edition.

March 2012 Blog Tour

There is so much great content out there, and since there's also a LOT of content out there it's sometimes easy to miss the really stellar posts. Every day we bloggers give pieces of ourselves to the blogosphere. This feature is my way of showing my appreciation for your efforts and to thank-you all for supporting mine.

Won't you join me?

There are three ways to participate in the Best of the Blogosphere link up!
  1. Link up your best post from the month of March
  2. Recognize a fellow blogger by linking up someone else's awesome post
  3. Write a list of the March posts you enjoyed most, like I did, and link it up. (Remember to also include in your list the post you're most proud of writing this month!)
Please grab and display my button anywhere in your post. Follow me if you like (no pressure). Feel free to leave me a comment - it makes me feel loved! Be sure to visit some of the bloggers I am recognizing this month and those who have linked up below, and make some new friends!

GRAB THE CODE!

And now here are a few of my favourite March posts:

I feel Jessica's pain in this Team Rasler post about bad behaviour: Discipline dilemmas I agree! It's a good thing they're cute!

I think this is so fun. Remember the game punch buggy? Take a look at what Stasha from NorthWest Mommy and some friends are doing: Punch Bug

This chick is a little crazy, but that's a good thing. If you're not already following her, you're missing out on all the fun, and that's a bad thing. I'm especially inspired by her recent remodelling plans: I'm an Awesome Sister...

This month I celebrated my mother's birthday, as I do every year, though she's been gone the last 17 of them. This beautiful and touching post by a newly discovered blogger, Dr. Rhia, mirrors many of my feelings about my own mom: For Everyone Who's Ever Suffered a Loss

Also this month, Deborah of The Monster in Your Closet writes about a topic that I am somewhat familiar with, though only peripherally: "Our baby is going to experience racism one day" I honestly hope that the experience is very rare. We ought to be beyond all of this by now, no?

BONUS: A few great resources to bookmark:

If you haven't already discovered Kiboomu, you'll want to check them out. You'll find song lyrics, craft ideas, and fun exercises for kids, among other things. Take a look at these fun April Fool's pranks, printables, recipes and jokes. And just in time for easter, try out these simple and fun Easter activities.

Check out Wikimommy for great articles on all things parenting, like this one by Voiceboks member Becky Jane: How to Get Your Kids Interested in Gardening

If you're not already a member of Voiceboks, you're missing out on the most supportive community for blogging and business moms on the net! Pay them a visit, and tell them I say 'hi'! :-)

And here is the post I had the most fun writing this month: Play Time - "Name Something Real" Jack and I have a lot of fun making up our own games, and this one is a real brain workout first thing in the morning!

A special thank-you to everyone who participated in last month's Best of the Blogosphere!

Thanks also, so very much, to everyone who has helped me through the last couple of days with kind words of encouragement and fabulous resources to help me navigate my new gluten-free world. Mad love for you people! xo

I can't wait to see what great posts you've read this month!

~ Sue

This linky will be open until April 10th!

  1. Wow. Never in a million years did I expect to see my name up there. Thank you! I'm so honored...even though you called me crazy.

I have the biggest smile on my face right now! Not like this fake smiley face I'm about to post here...but a real one. :)

Not just about you choosing my post...but about you celebrating your mom's birthday. I absolutely love that you do that!!
