I just turned the heat up because it's snowing... again. It seems like everyday I'm shovelling --> you're singing it in your now head aren't you?
Somehow thinking of this song while I'm shovelling makes the task a whole lot more fun. Haven't had the nerve yet to break into a 'shuffle' while shovelling, but it may yet happen.
Anyway, where were we? Oh, yes. Summer. I miss it. Thankfully, once we move into March around here, the winter appears to have an end and dreams of summer are fun rather than torturous.
Let's dream a little while we revisit some images of last summer.
Oh, I can hardly wait!!!
This post was prompted by Mama Kat and her Pretty Much World Famous Writer's Workshop.
Remember Summer? The warm air, blue skies, and endless days in the water? Me either. Share a photo from last Summer that brings you back.
Yep, I'm pretty much ready for summer. I was fine last week, and now all of a sudden I'm sick of it. Enough snow, enough slush. I don't mind the cold temperatures, but the ick is something I could do without.
ReplyDeleteThe winters here can be a challenge, Robin. We get lots of sunshine, which is great, but the freeze-thaw dance gets old fast.
DeleteLove the pictures, especially the soccer one. Can't wait for summer! :)
ReplyDeleteI love watching him having fun of any kind. Can't wait either!!! :)
DeleteI miss Summer too! No snow here but we had some big flakes yesterday. They just never stuck around!
ReplyDeleteI got the weather report from the MIL. It's nice that you have just enough to feel the magic of it, but not enough to get sick of it.
DeleteI wish we had some snow. It's been such a springlike winter it's sad.
ReplyDeleteHmm. I wonder if you would feel the same way if you lived up here in the great white North! ;) I'll try to send some snow your way!
DeleteOh your pictures have me wishing it was summer again!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Barbara. Me too! :)
