February 2012 Edition
There is so much great content out there, and since there's also a LOT of content out there it's sometimes easy to miss the really stellar posts. Every day we bloggers give pieces of ourselves to the blogosphere. This feature is my way of showing my appreciation for your efforts and to thank-you all for supporting mine.
Won't you join me?
There are three ways to participate in the Best of the Blogosphere link up!
- Link up your best post from the month of February
- Recognize a fellow blogger by linking up someone else's awesome post
- Write a list of the February posts you enjoyed most, like I did, and link it up. (Remember to also include in your list the post you're most proud of writing this month!)
Please grab and display my button anywhere in your post. Follow me if you like (no pressure). Feel free to leave me a comment - it makes me feel loved! Be sure to visit some of bloggers I am recognizing this month and those who have linked up below, and make some new friends!
GRAB THE CODE!
Here are some of my favourite February reads:
A heart-wrenchingly honest look at postpartum depression from
I feel just the way Ado does about intuition and what happens when we ignore it: Einstein on Mother's Intuition
Amanda of Lilahbility made me giggle and relate with this post: Ten signs you might be a word nerd
This post, posted just today, is one you need to check out if you have lost someone to cancer. Tracy is running for cancer, because it's what she can do. Add names of loved ones you have lost to the list of people she is running in honour of: Fighting Back Against Cancer
My own favourite post from this month is this one: It's My Anniversary and Love is in the Air
My favourite February pin:

I could spend a lot of time in a place like this.

Apologies for the abbreviated list this month folks. It's been a bit of a wild one. Among other things, my computer died and it took some time to get my life (mostly) back, and the little one has been battling something that doesn't seem to want to go away. We're all tired here, but looking forward to March and the beginning of spring!!
If you'd like to link up a list of your favourite January reads but are having trouble remembering just what you read, take a look at: your tweets and retweets for the month, your subscriptions, Facebook likes, Stumbles, and Pins.
The linky will be open until March 10th!
I read the perfect post this week. If I can find it again, I'll come back and link it up. BTW, I couldn't find the linkup in your post. Am I missing it?
ReplyDeleteSorry, E. Rushed the post up and forgot the linky. It's up now. Looking forward to reading your pick!
DeleteOkay, I found it. I think it's some popular blogging guy's post, but I laughed hard at the family window sticker part. Linking it now...
DeleteI love your Best Of posts and thank you for including my Einstein on intuition post. (-:
ReplyDeleteI can't find the linky = I will link up, just have to go fetch some posts. (-:
Thanks Ado. Linky is up now! Can't wait to see your picks!
DeleteThank you SO much for recognizing my PPD post. I am so glad that I sucked it up and published it even though I was terrified of the response. You just made my whole week :)
ReplyDeleteIt was such a good piece that so many moms will be able to relate to. You did a good think sharing your experience. I am happy to be able to recognize that! :)
DeleteHi there! I found your blog on voiceboks and thought I'd stop by to check it out! I followed via Linky and I was
ReplyDeletewondering if you would follow me back on GFC or Linky, or even both! LOL Thanks!

Tammy
Tammy, thanks for stopping by and following! I am following you too! :)
DeleteLove the pin! As an avid book reader(and a Nook Tablet lover, sorry Kindle friends) that would be my awesome get away spot!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I know, right? I'll forgive you for being a Nook fan. Really, I'd probably be happy with any tablet, but ILMK!
DeleteI just want to curl up and take a nap in that little window nook. Like right now.
ReplyDeleteOh, I SO know what you mean.
DeleteThank you so much for including my post about fighting back against cancer. And by all means, post names of those you know touched by cancer in the comments over at Just. Be. Enough. I will carry them all with me throughout the running season.
ReplyDeleteThanks for what you are doing to help those with cancer, Tracy! Good luck in all of your races!
DeleteI just found you here. Is the linky that is open until March 10th for February posts or January posts? In green above the linky it reads January, but the top says February. SOrry if I'm being dense. Ellen
ReplyDeleteNo Ellen, you're not being dense - I made a mistake (mama needs a nap, or perhaps a nice Cab-Merlot). This linky is for February posts.
DeleteThanks for making your way here! :)
Thanks! Will get my act together tomorrow and join in. Didn't want to link incorrectly.
DeleteErin and I blog together. I don't know what we would do without two pairs of eyes looking things over. I'm drinking a nice Malbec for you right now. :)
Brilliant idea to have a blogging partner. Hope you enjoyed the wine! :)
DeleteWhat a great idea for a blog hop! Wish I had the time to participate, maybe next time. Loved the photo of the "book nook!" :)
ReplyDeleteNext time, Tara. Couldn't you spend an entire weekend in that nook?
DeleteYou have given a lot of homework here. Now I have to check out all those blogs. Thanks:)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Well, they're totally worth it! Enjoy! :)
DeleteI love you favorite pin. I could spend A LOT of time in a little reading nook like that. Sadly with e books becoming so popular will we see the end of the in home library? I hope not.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is that I am an e-book fanatic, but I am unwilling to give up my pretty library. I still love seeing the spines of my favourite books lined up beside one another, and still read the occasional DTB (dead tree book). :)
DeleteI love your pin as well. Best of Blogosphere is a new concept for me. Thanks for the introduction!! I think I might try it out next month!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Kristie VB

ReplyDeleteYou bet, and you said it sister! :)

Kristina
