By the way, if you don't have any buttermilk, you can use a buttermilk substitute. Choose one of the following five options to make one cup of buttermilk substitute:

This assumes I have other things in my fridge or cupboard (like milk) :) Now I want pancakes...
ReplyDeletePerhaps a run to the grocery store is in order. :) Make lots! They freeze well, and the leftovers can be heated up in a toaster oven.
