ReplyDeleteGreat list! that pizza looks so tasty. gotta try that.
ReplyDeletenothing like running them till they fall asleep on the drive home LOL
Not only do we have so much in common but both our boys are hat mad! Love this ode. What a summer you had. Also you made me crave pizza for breakfast ;)
ReplyDeletemmmmmmmmm i have yet to try pizza on the bbq- have heard such good things about it though!
ReplyDeleteThank-you ladies! I love that last picture too, Barb and Rory. It represents the opposite of what my son is most of the time... moving... at full speed.
ReplyDeleteStasha, it just might be that their moms love hats too! Might have possibly influenced them just a tiny bit? Love this hat in particular, which Jack actually picked out himself.
Pizza on the BBQ is super delicious. If you want to try to book that my friend gave me it is called "Pizza on the Grill: 100 Feisty Fire-Roasted Recipes for Pizza & More". Everyone that has tried this pizza has said it is the best pizza they have ever had. That's high praise!
Awesome! That looks so fun. Especially nice to see this today as it's pouring rain and windy here.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin. Sorry to hear it's pouring and windy there! If it makes you feel any better, though it is currently absolutely gorgeous here, it may, in fact, snow any day now. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat recap, Sue!! Love that last picture!! So cute! I remember your pizza on the grill post, I was going to try that...maybe next summer ;)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm not sure what looked more delicious? That grilled pizza or the mac & cheese topped hot dog.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an awesome summer!
What a gorgeous photographic eye you have - amaaaaazing.
ReplyDeleteI like the soccer pic best. It looks like he's hatching a soccer ball. (-:
What great summery pictures! I really must try making hotdogs topped with mac & cheese! :)
ReplyDeleteThat last pic is priceless!
ReplyDeleteJen, I think we will still be grilling our pizza through the colder months... just so long as it isn't snowing! It's just that good.
ReplyDelete@ Jackie, it's definitely a toss up. That mac 'n cheese hot dog was soooo good.
ReplyDelete@Ado, thanks for that compliment. That means a lot to me - I try! You have the funniest comments - "hatching a soccer ball" indeed!
@Kiddothings, I highly recommend the mac 'n cheese dog.
@Rach, thanks. I think it's kind of adorable myself. : >
So cute. Love the last picture of sleeping in the car. My favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures made me hungry! Your little boy's so cute - looks like a fun summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica. I love that photo too!
ReplyDeleteKatie, thanks! It was a really fun summer!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! It looks like it was a magical summer!
ReplyDeleteWow, these photos are captivating.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Barbara--that last picture is just priceless! I love the soccer ball one as well.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until Li'l D's first "real" water slide experience. He went down a five-footer a couple months back (loved it!), but I want to see his thrill at the twists and turns.
:D
Thanks Stacey! It was pretty fun. You can't beat summer with a three-year-old.
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Erica! I had a pretty photogenic subject for most of them. :)
Deb, there's nothing like the smile on your own kid when they are experiencing complete joy!
