  3. Very true, Leslie. My kid has too many toys, but the neighbourhood kids sure love playing down there!

Leovi, it's nice to have playdates, but the cleanup is not so fun!

    1. Oh good. You too? I feel less embarrassed knowing I'm not the only one who can't resist a good educational toy and can't resist letting them all be thrown on the floor at the same time. :)

  6. My living room has looked just like that! Now that my kids are older it's no longer as many toys, but shoes, socks, backpacks, crumbs, water bottles, snack wrappers... Well, you get the point! Someone once told me that someday I will miss the mess... No, I don't think I will.

    1. Not the mess, but the activity - the life - that it represents. Guess I'll just try to see the joy and not the mess! :)

  8. I see many similar toys in your photo. That shopping card drove me absolutely mad. It's now in our garage so as to ease the fighting over it :P

  9. There are certain things that the kids fight over and I've learned my lesson - those things go away when other kids come over!

    1. Mmm... lock all the toys in a closet? Really, this kind of fun buys me an hour or two of relative piece, so it's all worth it! :)
