It's About the Moments

This plaque sits on my bookshelf, a daily reminder to slow down, look, listen, and breathe in the moments.

I have a tendency to want to produce, to achieve, and my natural state is one of business. So this plaque has a central place in my home, a gift from a friend, to remind me that there is more to life than a desire for more. It is here, already here, within reach.

  2. I love that one! I think it's a great one for new moms. I remember with my first I tended to focus on milestones, and worry about when she'd reach them, and then I realized that it doesn't matter when she reaches those milestones, but the moments we share that matter the most! Thanks for linking up :)

  6. A great quote. It is easy to forget about those moments when we want our kids to sleep through the night, be potty trained and the list goes on and on. I am not sure what it is, but I love the word moments.

  8. So True. It's those moments that we hold on to or those moments that change our way of thinking that make us who we are! Moments, Experiences, Life...! :)

  10. So true. I am all about being slow but I need to learn to capture the moments with all senses not just visual.
    Thanks for the reminder!
