Wordless(ish) Wednesday: Pretty Poses

Would you believe he sat still? Cooperated even when I asked to take his photo. It was for his teacher to put in his "This is Me!" book at school. Perhaps that had something to do with it. These photos turned out so well, I'm sending them to relatives with Christmas cards this year. Ah... sorry to ruin the surprise, relatives.

  4. Thanks Melissa. Of course I think so, but I'm slightly biased. :)

  9. Aw, thanks G! I've never been able to bring myself to pay someone to make Christmas photo cards for me - though I love them. I try to get just one good shot of him each year, and this year he really came through!

Thank-you, Stasha! I love this last photo. It's already framed and on my dresser! :)

Veronica, thank-you! I'm really pleased with how they turned out. :-)

Thanks Barbara. When I see this face, I almost want him to stay just like this... but I also want to see what he will become.

  12. Ado, he usually sticks his hand in front of the camera and says, "Mommy, no!" So, this was a real treat!

Rory - hot glue! :D That could result in some interesting photos!

  16. I have to admit that I am a little jealous because I could never get my little one to sit still for that long. :)

  20. Great pictures! Has he always let you take his picture? I can't get Blake to look at the camera and smile.

  21. OMG I can't wait for the age when Lilah will do this for me. That first one in the swing is my fave - am I allowed to describe him as gorgeous, or is that no boyish enough? Because handsome doesn't even begin to cover it!

  22. Carri, no, this is the first year he actually posed for me. Typically I am chasing him around with the camera catching him in between moving... very challenging!

Amanda, thanks. Well, I did use the word pretty in this post. :) I think if there is damage to be done by a feminine influence, I've already done it! And his favourite colour is pink (not my doing).
