Happy Valentine's Day!

Jack told me that he wanted to make Valentine's cards this year. A bit of a discussion ensued in which I tried to ascertain just how involved he was going to be in his Valentine's cards project and just how tired I was going to be after staying up all night to finish said project. In the end, knowing full well I'd have to do most of the work, I caved and agreed. Actually, it didn't take that much. I dig crafts.

Here's the result:

This design was inspired by Shopaholic Mommy:

Jack wrote the kids' names and his name on the back. He also attached a little heart eraser to each one, helped with the gluing of the hearts and the dots and had lots to say about the design!

And since I was in a crafty, loving mood, I also made these Valentine's treats for Jack and the other kids on the block:

This design was inspired by Disney Family Fun:

I used a tube of hearts candy for the body of the rocket wrapped in foil, and a Hershey's hug for the tip of the rocket. These were a big hit!
