Wordless Wednesday Toy-splosion
I'm tempted to explain... but I think today the photo will be allowed to speak for itself!
Oh good. You too? I feel less embarrassed knowing I'm not the only one who can't resist a good educational toy and can't resist letting them all be thrown on the floor at the same time. :)
My living room has looked just like that! Now that my kids are older it's no longer as many toys, but shoes, socks, backpacks, crumbs, water bottles, snack wrappers... Well, you get the point! Someone once told me that someday I will miss the mess... No, I don't think I will.
yep - I could post the same. it's an epidemic I think :)
ReplyDeleteYes, after playing should be gathered, is a daily struggle that I have with my son.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteVery true, Leslie. My kid has too many toys, but the neighbourhood kids sure love playing down there!
ReplyDeleteLeovi, it's nice to have playdates, but the cleanup is not so fun!
Calgary Mom - :)
Ha ha glad I am not the only one!

DeleteDid you take this in my house?!
ReplyDeleteYes, I did. Bit of a mess! Otherwise very lovely place you have there. ;)

ReplyDeleteNot the mess, but the activity - the life - that it represents. Guess I'll just try to see the joy and not the mess! :)
DeleteLOL, remember those days well.
ReplyDeleteNow we don't have quite so much plastic ;)
I so look forward to days of less plastic... though I will miss the little boy that likes to play with it!
DeleteI see many similar toys in your photo. That shopping card drove me absolutely mad. It's now in our garage so as to ease the fighting over it :P
ReplyDeleteThere are certain things that the kids fight over and I've learned my lesson - those things go away when other kids come over!
ReplyDeleteI have seen this somewhere...wait! my house every 4 hrs!
ReplyDeleteClearly, I am not alone. :)
DeleteOh my! That looks remarkably like my house, lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting the feeling that it's a pretty common scene.
DeleteMy house looks like this on a regular basis
ReplyDeleteOnly happens here when a friends comes by. Sometimes takes us an hour to clean up!
DeleteNO need to explain - we've all been there!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda. :)
DeleteIf you ever figure out how to prevent this from happening...please let me know lol!
ReplyDeleteMmm... lock all the toys in a closet? Really, this kind of fun buys me an hour or two of relative piece, so it's all worth it! :)
